Registration for fall recreation programs began Tuesday, July 29 for residents and Thursday, July 31 at 8am for everyone else. View programs online now or browse the fall recreation guide.

Car-Free Day is back!

Join us on St. Johns Street, between Queens and Moody streets, from 12 noon to 5pm on Sunday, August 17, 2025. This vibrant community celebration includes local businesses and artisans, delicious food, live music, and activities for all ages. Leave their car at home, and walk, bike, or take public transit to the event!

Be Bear Aware

We live in bear country! Managing access to garbage and other attractants is the most important action to take to keep people and bears safe in our community. If you see a bear in your neighbourhood or park, report it to the B.C. Conservation Officer Service at 1-877-952-7277.
